How To Begin Using Website Builder

Website Builder lets you experience easy drag-and-drop creation and hassle-free customisation of your website - without the need for a developer or any coding background.

If you’ve purchased a Website Builder plan, then you’re ready to access the Dashboard and start building your site using the Editor by selecting a Template. If not, begin by choosing a plan to purchase or signing up for Website Builder free trial. Just click on the link below to jump to the steps that you need:

Accessing the Website Builder Dashboard

The Website Builder Dashboard can be accessed through your Account Manager with the following steps:

1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
2. Ensure that Account Manager is selected from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter your username and password then, click Log In.
4. Click the Visit My Account button.
5. Click Website Builder from the menu at the top of the page.
6. Click on the Website Builder plan that you wish to begin using.
   If you have only one Website Builder plan, you will automatically be redirected to its management page.
7. Hover your mouse pointer over the [+] Icon at the top-right section of the page and click Build Now.

You are now on your Website Builder Dashboard.

Selecting a Website Template

Start building a website by choosing a Template and accessing the Website Builder Editor with the following steps:

1. From the Sites page on your Website Builder Dashboard, click the Create Site button.
2. Navigate through the different Template Categories at the top of the Templates page, to locate the Template that best suits your purpose.

   Note: If you want to use a Blank Template, click on the All category and scroll down to the end of the list, then click on the Blank Template.

3. Click on a Template to preview, then navigate through its pages to check the design.
   You can click on the [←] [→] Arrow Icons to view the previous or next Templates, or click the ← All Templates link at the top-left corner to go back to the Templates page.
4. To use the Template, click the Create This Site button at the top-right corner.

You will now be routed to the Website Builder Editor where you can begin building powerful websites and add all kinds of content.

Purchasing a Website Builder Plan

If you haven't purchased Website Builder yet, here's how:

1. Hover your mouse pointer over the Websites tab at the top of this page.
2. Click Website Builder.
3. Scroll down to view our available plans:
   • Personal, Business, & Enterprise - This is ideal for personal or business blogs, content marketing, or simply a display of information about your brand online.
   • eCommerce - This is ideal for building your Online Store — which allows you to conveniently sell your products and services online.
4. Click on the Buy button corresponding to your chosen plan.
5. Connect a Domain Name to your website by clicking on either of the options:
   • Claim Free Domain - Enter your desired Domain Name, making sure that it’s not taken yet, then click Select.
   • Use Existing Domain - Enter a registered Domain Name that you own, then click on the Connect Domain button.

   Note: If you select Claim Free Domain, you can still connect Website Builder to a different Domain Name later by contacting us.
   If you select Use Existing Domain, you will no longer be able to claim the free Domain that is included in your Website Builder plan once the payment has been made.

6. Click on the default period set and select the number of Years you would like to register your Plan for.
7. Review the details on your Shopping Cart, then click the Pay Securely button.
8. Enter your Crazy Domains account Username and Password and click Login & Continue or click the Sign Up link, fill-out the necessary details, then click Register & Continue.
   If you've already logged into your account prior to this step, you will automatically be redirected to the Pay & Activate page.
9. Review your order and tick the box corresponding to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy if you agree, then click Activate.

You've now purchased Website Builder. Access your Website Builder Dashboard to start using Website Builder.

Signing up for a Free Trial

To sign up for the 15-day free trial and start exploring Website Builder, follow the steps below:

1. Hover your mouse pointer over the Websites tab at the top of this page.
2. Click Website Builder.
3. Scroll down and click the TRY button on the banner right across the Website Builder plans.
4. Enter your Crazy Domains account Username and Password and click Login & Continue or click the Sign Up link, fill-out the necessary details, then click Register & Continue.
   If you have already logged into your account prior to this step, you will automatically be redirected to the Pay & Activate page.
5. Review your order and tick the box corresponding to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy if you agree, then click Activate.

Explore Website Builder for 15 days and don't forget to upgrade to the Website Builder plan you prefer so you don't lose your website.
