How To Restore WordPress Backup

As a website owner, you need to be prepared for unexpected online issues. One effective way to protect your WordPress site is by regularly backing it up. Whether it's due to a security breach or accidental data loss, having a recent backup allows you to restore your site quickly and easily. 

With our WordPress Hosting, you're covered. We automatically create and store up to four recent backups each week. If you ever need to restore your site, simply follow these easy steps in your Account Manager.

 

Restoring a WordPress Backup

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. From your dashboard, locate the domain name associated with your WordPress hosting plan.
  3. Find the WordPress Hosting row and click MANAGE.

  4. In the WordPress Sites section, locate the website you want to restore and click MANAGE.

  5. Select Backup from the top menu, then click Restore to view your four most recent backups.

  6. Choose the backup date and time you want to restore, then click CONFIRM RESTORE.

    IMPORTANT. Once you confirm the restoration, all current website files, settings, and databases will be replaced with your selected backup. Your live site will be deleted and overwritten.


     
  7. A "Restore Processing" screen will appear. Please allow a few minutes for the system to complete the restoration, as the process may take longer depending on the size of your website backup.
